This course is for technical practitioners using the tools of mathematical statistics to make better, defensible decisions. One feature of the content is to penetrate the sophisticated language of mathematical statistics such that its tools cannot be misused—which they are all too frequently. 

The course seeks to give technical practitioners not trained in mathematical statistics the background to deny misuse and, instead, withdraw sound and useful conclusions from data.
