Put It In Writing

For: Every manager, engineer or supervisor who must put his ideas on paper

You will never lose funding for a great idea again because your letter or report failed to capture the boss. You learn how to be direct and forceful, without exaggeration or puffery. You discover what to put first, what to emphasize and what is probably trivial detail to the one considering approval. The focus of this course is practical, in that writing models will be drawn from actual business situations.

Each participant will set personal course goals based on the need for writing in his or her career. Writing samples from each delegate will be analyzed to design a course program tailored to each individual. Group work will concentrate on common problems with thought, organization and syntax. After this course, you should produce error-free, effective writing, and your new style will reflect your new confidence in your materials as well as its presentation.
