Become expert in the key technology currently used in recovering low gravity crude oil by thermal methods. Become proficient in steam stimulation, steamflooding (including hot water injection), and in-situ combustion. Get to know all advantages and disadvantages of each process. Emphasis is on reservoir behavior (including screening criteria), methods of predicting recovery and current field experiences.
